The Meaning Behind a Name - PhytoSana

Phyto – Its origin is Greek, of a plant
Sana – Latin, healthy, whole; by extension: cure, heal, take care of; sound in mind and body.

We’ve granulated and steam-pressed our high quality hemp in to a crumble, to provide the benefits of naturally occurring CBD to horses. Our Equine Hemp Crumbles are a Full Spectrum product, meaning we use the whole plant. This provides an array cannabinoids including CBD, CBG, CBDv, CBN, CBC and more. Our product has no binders, no fillers, no artificial flavors, and keeps the hemps rich omega fatty acid profile intact. All of this means a truly synergistic and highly effective result!
This product is a great choice for daily maintenance, but can also be given pre-event. It is easy to administer, simply top dress on feed.
CBD is not marijuana! The term “CBD” stands for cannabidiol. It is a phytocannabinoid that is a naturally occurring constituent of industrial hemp (cannabis stativa). Both hemp and marijuana are forms of cannabis, however cannabis does not mean marijuana. The main psychoactive compound found in marijuana is THC, this is what produces the “high” sensation. Whereas CBD is a non-psychoactive compound, it does not produce the high. Studies have shown CBD may be helpful in many areas including pain management, inflammation, reducing anxiety, gastrointestinal health and much more! It is found in abundance within the hemp plant, making it an ideal source for obtaining the compound.
